This rail is perfect for hunting, bench rest and PRS competitions. Dropping the pic rail closer to the barrel allows you to put your scope closer to the barrel reducing cant related misses. The protection around your barrel will allow you to push press pull against the rail. Your barrel will be protected against flex when obstacles are encountered.
